Will I be able to drive home after Endovenous Laser Ablation? What is recovery like for the first 24 hours after the procedure?
Many physicians require that you are driven home after the procedure. This is precautionary. If you are sedated for the procedure, you certainly should have a driver.
Without any sedation, you may be able to drive at the discretion of your doctor. Most of my patients don’t receive any sedation and they can drive home after the procedure. Recovery is typically very easy, with most patients returning to normal activities the day of the procedure.
